East Brunswick, N.J. – Circulate NJ is asking everyone, with winter officially coming tomorrow, to celebrate “Look on the Bright Side Day.” Designed to help spread positivity on what is the shortest day of sunlight for the year (Northern Hemisphere), New Jersey has a lot to feel positive about when it comes to logistics, which encompasses the Transportation, Logistics and Distribution (TLD) industry.

Data from the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development shows the numerous benefits the TLD industry provides the state, including:

  • Supporting more than 400,000 jobs
  • Employing 12% of the state’s private workforce and providing 12.7% of New Jersey private sector wages
  • Providing an average $75,000 annual industry salary
  • Contributing $62.5 billion, or 10%, to New Jersey’s overall GDP

This “Look on the Bright Side Day,” let’s be positive about New Jersey’s future thanks to the hard work, dedication and continued growth of the logistics industry.
