Civil Service Commission to Host Virtual Information Sessions to Reach Recent College Graduates, Rising Juniors and Seniors
TRENTON – In a continued effort to promote professional careers in New Jersey State and local government, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) will host Virtual Information Sessions targeting recent college graduates and rising junior and senior college students. All New Jersey residents are encouraged to attend these free sessions.
Each virtual presentation will include an hour-long overview on how to apply for State and local government jobs. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from CSC representatives who will be answering any questions pertaining to the application process.
The Information Sessions will be held on the following dates:
• Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Tuesday, December 7, 2021, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
• Tuesday, December 14, 2021, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
“As we are seeing new trends in the job market, it is important to highlight the State of New Jersey as an employer of choice,” said CSC Chair/Chief Executive Officer, Deirdré L. Webster Cobb, Esq. “Many new positions become available daily, including entry-level positions open to recent college graduates, and college juniors and seniors who will soon enter the job market."
