Air Force Veteran Shanel Robinson Earns Endorsement in NJ House District 12 from With Honor Fund III

SOMERSET, NJ — Today, the Shanel Robinson for Congress campaign proudly announced it has been endorsed in NJ House District 12 by the With Honor Fund III, a cross-partisan organization dedicated to electing military veterans. Robinson, a U.S. Air Force veteran and the current Director of the Somerset County Board of Commissioners, joins a select group of candidates recognized for their commitment to integrity, civility, and courageous leadership.

Robinson’s trailblazing career includes serving as the first Black woman to lead the Somerset County Board of Commissioners. Her tenure at the County has been marked by significant advancements in public health, infrastructure, education and job training, and economic development. As a former Avionics Specialist and Control Specialist and a Flight Leader, she credits her military background for the discipline and "service before self" mentality she brings to every role she holds including her recent service as the 84^th President of the New Jersey Association of Counties.

The With Honor endorsement highlights Robinson’s unique position as a leader capable of bridging divides. The organization supports "next-generation" veterans who are answering the call to serve again, prioritizing the defense of the Constitution and the needs of their constituents.
