Conaway on 25th Anniversary of 9/11 Attacks
Washington, D.C. — Today, Congressman Herb Conaway Jr., MD released the following statement on marking the 25th anniversary of the terror attacks of September 11th, 2001:
“Today marks the 25th anniversary of one of the most heinous terror attacks our nation has suffered. Today and every day, we remember, mourn, and honor the lives lost in the attacks in New York and in our nation’s capital.
“Let us also remember the 750 New Jersey residents who tragically lost their lives in these attacks. I stand with the families who continue to grieve, and I will always honor the heroic first responders who ran toward danger to save lives and help those trapped in the aftermath.
“While it’s important to hold close the memories of those we lost, we must also continue our commitment to supporting those who struggle with health challenges caused by the attacks. I remain steadfast in my dedication to ensuring the heroes of 9/11 and their families receive all the resources they need and deserve.
“As we reflect on this anniversary, let us also celebrate the strength and resolve of our nation that carried us through one of our darkest moments.”
