Pascrell, Gottheimer, and Sherrill Issue Strong Statement of Support

PASSAIC COUNTY– New Jersey Congressional members Rep. Bill Pascrell, Rep. Josh Gottheimer, and Rep. Mikie Sherrill issued the following endorsement for the Passaic County Democratic Committee ticket of Chief Thomas Adamo for Passaic County Sheriff along with Cassandra “Sandi” Lazzara, Rodney De Vore and John Bartlett for County Commissioner.

“Government is at its best when it is working in coordination on the federal, state and local levels to provide service, safety and economic security for everyone we represent.  We are endorsing Thomas Adamo for Passaic County Sheriff and Cassandra “Sandi” Lazzara, Rodney De Vore and John Bartlett for County Commissioner because they are the candidates best equipped to work in partnership with us for the benefit of County residents.

Chief Adamo has an extensive career as a law enforcement professional and we know he will be ready on day one to take over leadership of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office.  His passion for public service and deep-rooted desire to make Passaic County a safer, more inclusive community are defining characteristics and we particularly appreciate his advocacy for modern policing strategies that emphasize de-escalation techniques and mental health services.

Cassandra “Sandi” Lazzara, Rodney De Vore and John Bartlett provide the perfect combination of experience and fresh ideas Passaic County residents deserve.  Sometimes it becomes too easy to get caught up in the ‘debate of the day’ when most residents just want to make sure their elected officials are focused on improving their roads and bridges, making housing more affordable for our veterans and seniors and making our county a safer place to live.  Lazzara, De Vore and Bartlett are the leaders we need to move Passaic County forward.
