CONGRESSMAN JOSH GOTTHEIMER ENDORSES SCHWAGER, CHUNG & HAUSMANN IN NEW JERSEY’S 39TH LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT
WESTWOOD — Today, Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-05) endorsed Linda Schwager for State Senate and Jannie Chung and Annie Hausmann for State Assembly.
“I am proud to support Linda Schwager, Jannie Chung, and Annie Hausmann. They know what it means to roll up their sleeves, work across the aisle, and make tough decisions,” Congressman Gottheimer said. “Linda, Jannie, and Annie share many of my core values — working across the aisle to lower property taxes, get our budgets in check, stand by our police and firefighters, and fix our crumbling roads, bridges, and drinking water, and keep our schools on top.”
“Congressman Gottheimer’s work to build consensus in Washington, D.C. has provided a framework for the work we will do in Trenton,” said Schwager.
“Representative Gottheimer understands what it takes to run a successful campaign in Northern New Jersey and we’re proud to have his backing,” added Chung.
“Representative Gottheimer is a model of what it means to bring fresh ideas to a government that is mired in partisan gridlock,” said Hausmann.
Schwager, Chung, and Hausmann are running in New Jersey’s 39th Legislative District, which is considered to be one of the most competitive races in New Jersey this election cycle. The district contains twenty towns in Bergen County and three in Passaic.
