Coughlin Statement on Bergen County Sheriff Saudino:

“He has disgraced his position and his community.”

(TRENTON) – Speaker Craig Coughlin (D-Middlesex) issued the following statement regarding Bergen County Sheriff Michael Saudino:

“The racial, homophobic and hateful slurs heard on the tape are abhorrent and beyond unacceptable. If this tape is verified as legitimate and those are the words of the Sheriff he has disgraced his position and his community and I call on him to resign immediately.”
