Councilman Donaldson Seeks Election in Keansburg
Keansburg- Councilman Michael Donaldson has announced his candidacy for the Special Election taking place during the General Election on November 2nd 2021. Councilman Donaldson, more commonly known as “Michael from the post office” is a 50 year resident of the Borough of Keansburg. Michael is a family man who raised his son right here in Keansburg with his wife of 32 years Patricia. Due to Michael’s years of dedication to the Borough of Keansburg he was appointed to fill a vacancy in January of this year.

I look forward to continuing to help Move Keansburg Forward. We have a lot of projects and redevelopment in town and I am looking to keep my seat to help guide these in the right direction.” – Councilman Michael Donaldson
Michael worked at the United States Post Office right here in Keansburg for 32 years before retiring in 2018. Since then Michael has been volunteering weekly at the Project Paul Food Pantry. Michael comes with a lot of leadership experience in service to his community. Before his appointment to the Borough Council, Michael spent 9 years on the Keansburg Board of Education serving 2 years as Vice President. Along with this Michael has been a Trustee of the Church Street Corp. for 8 years in which their goal is “To provide housing for low income elderly and disabled individuals and families”. Michael has also spent the last 6 years as a member of the Keansburg Planning Board. Michael looks forward to getting out on the campaign trail and speaking directly to the people of Keansburg to field their questions and earn their votes come November 2nd.
Councilman James Cocuzza is fully endorsing Councilman Donaldson during this year’s election. He had this to say about the election.
