Crystal Clear: Zwicker Names Pruitt Chief of Staff

Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker thanks Gov. Phil Murphy for working with the NJ legislature on the dark money disclosure bill.

Monmouth Junction, NJ – Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker (LD-16) announced today that Crystal Pruitt has been named Chief of Staff, effective immediately.

“I am thrilled to welcome back Ms. Pruitt to my staff, this time as Chief. Crystal brings a unique background and skills that will be of critical importance to serving the people of the 16th Legislative District, both with regards to legislation and constituent relations, ” said Zwicker.

Ms. Pruitt who most recently was the Legislative Liaison for the Department of Human Services had been Assemblyman Zwicker’s Director of Constituent Relations and Community Outreach during his first term in office. She graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and earned a Masters Degree in Forensic Psychology and Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. With a dedication to serving the public, Ms. Pruitt worked in the behavioral health field before turning her attention to state government.

Ms. Pruitt has served on several executive boards across the state, including the New Jersey Chapter of the New Leaders Council, where she was previously a Fellow then became the Diversity Chair and the Somerset County Young Democrats as President. She resides in Franklin Township, where she was born and raised.
