To all Media Outlets:

In reference to the accusations made previously by Phillipsburg Democratic Party Chairman, Josh Davis, we, as Democrats in Phillipsburg, take serious offense to the comment that the team of Ellis, Stettner and Clark are the only Democrats in the 2020 race.

It is apparent that Chairman Davis wishes to silence the opposition because of the weak ticket put together by a few hand picked Democrats and not the entire Phillipsburg Democratic Party.

The greatest part of an election is choice. Our Democratic candidates have provided Phillipsburg with that choice. Why is Chairman Davis opposed to the idea of our Democratic base making such a choice? Why is he more comfortable ramming three candidates with zero stock in this community down our throats?

Why the false accusations? Is this their campaign platform? If so, they have a lot of explaining to do to the Town of Phillipsburg.

Phillipsburg has been torn in half by the Phillipsburg Municipal Democratic Party but that stops on June 4th, 2019 when the voters hit the polls and make their voices heard.

We believe in uniting our town and ending the childish and bullyish behavior shown by the prior Administration.

In 4 years the self proclaimed Phillipsburg Municipal Democratic Party has not moved Phillipsburg forward. They’ve failed to put forth a working initiative to assist our community members in a positive way. Instead, while the quality of life has degraded for everyone else, they have only taken care of a few select members by rewarding them with patronage jobs, created positions, and exorbitant raises all on the taxpayers dime.

Phillipsburg Democrats deserve better. They deserve us.
