DIG IN TO SEASON THREE OF PASTA AND POLITICS BEGINNING WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 7 ON NJTV

February 2, 2018 – HOBOKEN, NJ — Join New Jersey journalist and Politifax editor Nick Acocella as he combines his two passions — Italian food and politics — for the third season of his deliciously different talk show, Pasta & Politics with Nick Acocella, airing Wednesdays at 8pm beginning February 7 on NJTV.

In the season premiere, airing Wednesday, February 7 at 8pm, Acocella cooks up meatball lasagna and conversation with former NJ State Senator Ray Lesniak.

“This show has become a fan favorite,” said NJTV General Manager John Servidio.  “It gives viewers the opportunity to see their representatives and others in the Trenton circle in a new, engaging light. Not to mention get some great recipes.”

Other visitors to the Acocella kitchen this season:  Former Senator Joe Kyrillos and current Representatives Frank Pallone, Leonard Lance, Donald Payne, Jr. as well as NJTV’s own Chief Political Correspondent Michael Aron. In past seasons, Acocella has pulled up a pan with former Governor Chris Christie, U.S. Senators Cory Booker and Bob Menendez and Senate President Steve Sweeney, among others.

Wednesday, February 7th at 8pm Former NJ State Senator Ray Lesniak cooks up meatball lasagna with a side of discussion about progressive issues.

Wednesday, February 14 at 8pm Former NJ State Senator Joe Kyrillos prepares marinara rigatoni and reflect on his decades-long career.

Wednesday, February 21 at 8pm NJ Congressman Frank Pallone makes spaghetti carbonara while discussing Superstorm Sandy relief and beach replenishment.

Wednesday, February 28 at 8pm NJ Congressman Leonard Lance prepares seared scallops over linguini and discuss the need to occasionally defy party leadership to let principles prevail.

MARCH 2018

Wednesday, March 7 at 8pm NJ Congressman Donald Payne, Jr. cooks up no-carb pasta with roasted cauliflower and a side of conversation about the honor of serving in public office.

Wednesday, March 14 at 8pm NJTV News Chief Political Correspondent Michael Aron prepares calamari over career stories.
