Division of Elections Reminds Candidates of Upcoming April 2 Petition Filing Deadline for the June 5 Primary Election

TRENTON, N.J. – The New Jersey Division of Elections wishes to remind all Republican and Democratic candidates for United States Senate, United States House of Representatives, and General Assembly for Legislative Districts 15, 32, 34 and 36 that the petition filing deadline for the June 5 primary election is 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2018.

Although appointments are not necessary, for fast and convenient filing, candidates can schedule an appointment online. Scheduling an appointment will improve the filing process and help reduce the time a filer will spend at the Division of Elections Office as scheduled appointments are always serviced first.
