WASHINGTON, DC – The Democratic Lt. Governors Association today announced an additional $700,000 investment in support of Lt. Governor Tahesha Way’s campaign for Congress, bringing the total current investment to $1.4 million in the race.

Last week, the DLGA announced an initial $590,000 investment with the ad, “Proven Way.” This added investment builds on that momentum, extending the ad campaign through election day, while adding additional direct mail pieces to reinforce Lt. Governor Way’s proven record of delivering results.

“Time and again, Tahesha Way has proven she can stand up to Donald Trump and win,” said Kevin Holst, Executive Director of the DLGA. “She’s led New Jersey’s successful pushback against Trump’s attacks on our democracy. With Trump advancing a cost-raising agenda and enabling violent, lawless ICE actions, we need leaders in Congress who won’t back down. Our significant investment in NJ-11 marks the first step in the DLGA’s commitment to backing Democratic lieutenant governors running for higher office nationwide in 2026—and Tahesha Way is exactly the kind of leader we’re proud to stand with.”
