Emerge NJ Welcomes Geri Jannarone of Parano Associates To the Advisory Board

 

Towaco, NJ – September 20, 2018 – Geri Jannarone of Brielle, director of advocacy and special campaigns at Parano and Associates, has joined the advisory board of Emerge NJ, a national non-profit organization that trains democratic women to run for office.

 

“At Emerge NJ, Geri will do the crucial work of spearheading our training program as chair of our programming committee,” said Shawn Laurenti, Emerge NJ advisory board chair. “We are so fortunate to have someone of such talent, caliber, and experience lead this organization in its important work of getting more women into elected offices.”

 

Jannarone has lent her expertise to a number of major campaigns. She was the Monmouth County political field operative for the Phil Murphy for Governor Campaign and was the former New Jersey state chapter leader for the Hillary Clinton Presidential Campaign. She was also the New Jersey new member lead for Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America/Everytown for Gun Safety. She serves as the democratic municipal chair of Brielle, New Jersey. She also participated in the Reed Gusciora for Trenton mayor, Team Pallone for Long Branch, Josh Welle for Congress, and Compassion and Choices Legislative Advocacy campaigns.

 

“I am honored to accept this appointment as chair of programming to the Emerge New Jersey advisory board and am excited to continue the work of training democratic women seeking elected office,” said Jannarone. “Emerge New Jersey is a national organization that has been extremely successful in preparing women to run for office.
