EMILYs List Congratulates Rebecca Bennett on Her Victory Flipping New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District

“EMILYs List proudly congratulates Rebecca Bennett on her critical victory in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District, a pivotal race in Democrats’ path to reclaim the U.S. House majority. Rebecca ran a strong campaign that showed voters what experienced, mission-driven leadership looks like. As a former Navy helicopter and test pilot, she has spent her career taking on tough challenges and delivering under pressure. She’ll bring that same expertise to Congress, fighting to lower costs, stand up to Trump’s agenda, and deliver results for New Jersey families. We’re proud to have stood with Rebecca in this race and excited to see her bring her leadership to the House.”

EMILYs List’s Mission Majority initiative put Democratic women at the center of an aggressive strategy to flip the U.S. House and reclaim the majority. EMILYs List led the effort to expand the battleground map, backing 26 Majority Makers in key competitive districts and tougher Republican-held terrain where strong women candidates could deliver the seats Democrats needed to win the House. We built that strategy by providing strategic guidance, critical resources, and targeted fundraising and communications support to help candidates compete and win.
