Mayor Colleen Mahr was the first person I told I was running for Springfield Township Committee, and her first words after hearing this were: “Congratulations! I’ll do a fundraiser for you.”

I’ll never forget the look of pride on her face. It speaks to the selfless individual we’ve always known her to be. Her perspective and input proved time and again to be invaluable–even if it was something we didn’t want hear. The loyalty and support she’s shown us and the Township of Springfield has been boundless.

We have an incredible opportunity to continue with a true leader who possesses the grass roots grit we need in our county to serve the people we represent.

Colleen has been the only candidate that we have ever heard from or seen in support of our township. Colleen has always been there when we needed her support, including last year, when she was instrumental in our collaboration for our inaugural Women’s Leadership Forum, bringing guests from all over the county to participate.

Acting Chair Colleen Mahr is the obvious choice, the most deserving choice, and the most qualified choice to be our next Chair because she presents the best plan to move all of Union County forward!
