Fair Property Taxes for All NJ Launches New “Property Tax Viewer”

Westfield, N.J. – In continuing their mission to ensure New Jersey Taxpayers have easy to access and understandable information concerning their highest in the nation property taxes, Fair Property Taxes for All New Jersey has launched a new “Property Tax Viewer” for Garden State residents to utilize.
“All too often the information regarding the property tax crisis we all face is confusing and hard to find,” said Brian Thomas, executive director of Fair Property Taxes for All New Jersey. “With the launching of our Property Tax Viewer, residents can now see just where and how their tax dollars are being allocated.”

The tax viewer tool uses the average home value and general tax rates associated within the respective municipalities to demonstrate the associated costs in a given area. The information is then presented in a graphic form that illustrates where funds are spent as well as the overall tax costs associated with the governmental budgets (e.g. school, municipal, and county).

Taxpayers are also able to see comparisons to the average New Jersey cost and within their counties. The data used to compile these figures comes from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs annual property tax tables.

To use the tool, please visit NewJerseyPropertyTaxViewer.com or click on the Property Tax Viewer button at the top of the FairPropertyTaxesForAllNewJersey.com website.
