Fitzherbert Announces Endorsement From Northfield Mayor Chau

South Jersey’s Harry Hurley reports that Brian Fitzherbert has announced his candidacy in Congressional District 2. Last year, Fitzherbert vied for the GOP nomination in a crowded primary, but was knocked off the ballot after rival Hirsh Singh challenged his petition signature.

Fitzherbert Announces Another Atlantic County Endorsement

Egg Harbor Township – Today, Brian T. Fitzherbert, who is seeking the Republican nomination for Congress in New Jersey’s Second Congressional District, announced the endorsement of Northfield Mayor Erland Chau.

“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of Mayor Chau. This endorsement is a signal of our ever-growing base of support in Atlantic County and throughout the 2nd Congressional District and a clear sign that my message of expanding economic development, supporting our Veterans and securing our boarders are what voters are looking for in this election,” Fitzherbert said.

“I have had the pleasure of getting to know Brian and witnessed his leadership skills growing the Republican Party in Atlantic County and throughout South Jersey. Even more, Brian impressed me by taking his fellow Republicans to a shooting range for an event showing real leadership and commitment to teaching the next generation about the use of firearms and gun safety. His conservative values and commitment to our community is exactly what we need and that’s why I strongly endorse Brian Fitzherbert for Congress,” said Mayor Chau.

New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District covers all of Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and Salem Counties, as well as parts of Gloucester, Ocean, Burlington, and Camden Counties.
