Former Gubernatorial Candidate Endorses Singh for Congress
Linwood, NJ — Former gubernatorial candidate, Nutley Commissioner, and Chairman of the NJ Trump-Pence 2020 Campaign Steven Rogers has announced his endorsement of Second Congressional District candidate Hirsh Singh.
Hirsh is a staunch supporter of President Trump’s Make America Great Again policies; policies which are beneficial to our nation and our state.  And, most importantly, policies that are working.  Hirsh is what the GOP and our nation needs.  He represents diversity, conservative values, and an inspiration that can defeat the Democrats in November.  I am proud to endorse him.
Singh thanked Rogers for his support and for his service to our country.
Steve’s service to our country is exceptional, having served in two branches of the Armed Forces as well as with two New Jersey Police Departments.  His experience from the Vietnam War era to the Cold War to the War on Terror is extraordinary.  I am grateful for his endorsement and thankful to call him a friend.
Steven L. Rogers is currently serving his second term on the Township of Nutley Board of Commissioners.  He is a veteran of the Air Force, a veteran of the U.S. Naval Reserves, and a retired police officer having attained the rank of Detective Lieutenant.  In 2017, Rogers was a candidate for governor in the Republican Primary election and now serves as Chairman of the NJ Trump-Pence 2020 Campaign.

Singh has already been endorsed by the Burlington County Republican Committee, the Ocean County Republican Organization, the Camden County Republican Committee, the Atlantic County Republican Committee, Atlantic County State Senator Chris Brown, New Jersey Young Republican Federation Chairman Giancarlo Ghione, State Assemblyman and Little Egg Harbor resident Brian E. Rumpf of the 9th Legislative District, State Assemblywoman and Long Beach Island resident DiAnne Gove of the 9th Legislative District, Atlantic County Freeholder Chairman Frank D. Formica, Freeholder James A. Bertino, Freeholder Maureen Kern, Ship Bottom Mayor William Huelsenbeck, Ship Bottom Regular Republican Club President Frank Cooper, the Ship Bottom Regular Republican Club, the Stafford Regular Republican ticket of Mayor John R. Spodofora, Paul Marchal, Sharon McKenna, David Taylor, Steve Fessler, Ray Fix and Rich Carlson, the Regular Republican Club of Tuckerton, Tuckerton Republican candidates Mayor Susan R.
