Freeholder Bill O’Dea Endorses Rep. Sires
WEST NEW YORK, NJ — Hudson County Freeholder Bill O’Dea is endorsing Congressman Albio Sires (D-Hudson) for a new term representing the people of Jersey City and the entire 8th Congressional District. Freeholder O’Dea and Congressman Sires have a long history of collaboration in the name of delivering federal and county resources to Hudson County residents and have worked together on numerous important initiatives over their years in public service.
“I know that whenever one of my constituents needs assistance with a federal government issue I can call Albio Sires and he will make sure it’s taken care of, and that kind of attentiveness to the needs of Hudson County residents is why Albio has always been such an effective public servant,” said Freeholder O’Dea. “We need Albio Sires fighting for us in Washington and bringing back the resources that Jersey City and Hudson County need, and he has my full support in this election.”
Congressman Sires has the support of many of New Jersey’s leading Democratic elected officials and labor unions, including Governor Phil Murphy, Senator Bob Menendez, Senator Cory Booker and many other leaders.
“Jersey City knows that Bill O’Dea is never afraid to speak his mind and he always works to make county government accountable to Hudson County residents, and I’m honored to have his support,” said Rep. Sires. “Although we represent different areas of Jersey City, we share the same commitment to the future of this great community and I look forward to continuing to work with Freeholder O’Dea on important priorities we share.”
