FUERZA WINS REED AWARD FOR BEST WEBSITE FOR STATE LEGISLATIVE CANDIDATE

KINNELON N.J. – Fuerza Strategy Group won the Stanley F. Reed Award for Best Website for State Legislative Candidate. The award was presented on Tuesday evening in Charleston, South Carolina by political campaign magazine Campaigns and Elections. Fuerza was recognized for its design and development of the District 40 Democratic candidates’ website.

The District 40 Democratic website featured a fluid and highly responsive design catering to the wide variety of devices used to access the internet. An interactive Issues section enabled visitors to select from the array of policy positions, displaying in-depth content that demonstrates the candidates knowledge of the issues. The Home page also featured an interactive district map, highlighting events and volunteer opportunities throughout the district. The complete site is live at FlipThe40th.org.

The website also featured a GOTV micro-site within the main site to enhance the campaign’s grassroots digital organizing effort. Polling locations, volunteer signups, and remote phone banking instructions were easily accessible within the main site. The micro-site led to more than 600 GOTV volunteer shifts.
