Gen Z for New Jersey has released its 2025 Gen Z Power List, recognizing young leaders across the state who are shaping public life, driving policy, and stepping up in a year defined by change and challenge.

“This has been a year of real work,” said Board of Directors Ben Dziobek, Kayleigh Lavornia, Shayla Nunn, and Sunni Vargas in a statement. “Gen Z showed up through constant shifts in political landscapes and moments that demanded clarity and courage. Across New Jersey, young people organized, voted in record numbers, and stepped into leadership roles that are reshaping what public service looks like in this state.”

The individuals named to this year’s list represent a broad range of public service, advocacy, organizing, and government roles. Each honoree reflects the commitment, persistence, and forward-thinking vision that Gen Z leaders are bringing to New Jersey.

The board also emphasized that the work extends far beyond the names published. “There are countless young leaders whose names are not on this list but whose impact is felt every day. Their work matters. This generation is moving the state forward in ways big and small.”

As Gen Z for New Jersey looks ahead, the organization expects even more young people to step into public leadership. “We’re entering a year with even more on the line. New voices will emerge, new challenges will arise, and Gen Z will continue shaping the future of this state. We’re committed to uplifting that work and making sure this generation has the support it deserves.”
