Judge Tosses Numerous Sigs as Altman Campaign Hangs on

In an officially unresolved case tonight, of 1,022 petition signatures filed by Sue Altman's CD-12 campaign, 689 valid signatures remained, according to the clerks working for Administrative Law Judge Michael Stanzione (pictured).
The challengers to Altman would need to summon 190 invalid signatures to drop Altman below the required 500 mark.
Since about 93 are left to count, the Altman Campaign tonight appeared to be positioned to survive the petition challenge although campaign rivals seethed at the sloppiness of a collection effort that produces the names "Louie Lunchmeat" and "Jesus Christ."
"Louie Lunchmeat should be ashamed," harrumphed one source at the conclusion of an over 12-hour hearing at Altman's apparent close shave with CD-12 campaign oblivion.
The case will resume tomorrow morning.
