GIFFORDS PAC announces new ad to elect Rebecca Bennett in NJ-07

WASHINGTON — GIFFORDS PAC, the national gun violence prevention organization, founded by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, released a new ad in the race to represent New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District, as part of its $10 million commitment to electing and supporting gun safety champions in 2026. The campaign will focus on communicating to women and swing voters digitally in opposition to Rep. Tom Kean Jr.'s track record of supporting dangerous policies to reward his gun lobby donors.

“New Jerseyans just want to feel safe, but Tom Kean sides with the powerful gun lobby to make it easier for dangerous people, like domestic abusers, to access guns,” said GIFFORDS PAC Executive Director Emma Brown. “He even voted to gut funding for law enforcement, making it harder for police to solve crimes and protect communities. Garden Staters deserve a Congressman who takes their side, not the gun lobby’s.”
