GOP’S KIPNIS SWEEPS SUPPORT FROM ALL FOUR CD 12 COUNTIES
Republican Candidate Daryl Kipnis Gets Nod From Mercer, Middlesex, Somerset and Union Organizations
SOMERSET, NJ, March 26, 2018 – New Jersey 12th District congressional candidate, and Somerset attorney, Daryl Kipnis won the unanimous support of all four county Republican conventions, topped off in Middlesex County at Sayreville Memorial High School March 24.
“I’m running as a candidate for the United States Congress for the 12th Congressional District simply because we need problem solvers in there,” Kipnis said to the almost 200 delegates attending the convention. “We need somebody in there who is an actual representative of the people in the district, and all the struggles they face in their everyday lives.”
The convention Saturday capped off winning the unanimous support of the four counties making up the district including Mercer, Middlesex, Somerset, and Union counties.
Kipnis won Union County’s Republican Convention nomination March 10, then winning in both Somerset and Mercer counties March 23 before finishing with the Middlesex win on Saturday.
“The people of the district need someone in there that can put a smile on their face, someone that they know can be counted on to represent their interests in Washington, D.C., 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” he said. “To make sure that New Jersey has a seat at the table and is relevant in every single conversation on (Capitol) Hill. Because if you don’t have a seat at the table, ladies, and gentlemen, you’re for dinner.”

Kipnis said the state has been treated as “second class state,” for many years, sending more tax dollars to the nation’s capital than getting back in funding for federal projects like infrastructure including roads, bridges, and schools.
“We need a course correction,” he said. “When I get in there, New Jersey will no longer be a ‘sender state.’”
