Gottheimer Praises $85,000 Security Grant For Fifth District Based Coach USA

 

Key Investment for Northern New Jersey 

 

GLEN ROCK, NJ – Today, Friday, August 23, 2019, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) announced more than $85,000 in grants from the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) awarded to Coach USA through the Intercity Bus Security Grant Program. Intercity Bus Security Grant Program provide funding support for critical infrastructure hardening and other physical security enhancements to operators of intercity bus systems serving the nation’s highest-risk metropolitan areas to create a sustainable program for the protection of those systems and the traveling public from terrorism. Coach USA is headquartered in the Fifth District in Paramus.

 

“I am proud that Coach USA will be able to use this new investment to help protect travelers in North Jersey and around the country,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “Working with law enforcement, I am confident Coach USA will be able to work with law enforcement to make travelers safer whether they’re going on a family trip, going to work, or anything in between. As ever, I’m thrilled we were able to claws these tax dollars away from Moocher States and back to invest in northern New Jersey.”
