Gottheimer Statement on U.S. Treasury’s Final Regulations on Charitable Contributions and SALT Deduction

We haven’t seen the full text of the final rule, but this seems to be a massive giveaway to the Moocher States and another whack at states like New Jersey. This is the ultimate politically-motivated giveaway to red states. It doesn’t even pass the laugh test and will face tough legal scrutiny.
