Gottheimer Visits Fourth-Generation Family-Owned, Woman-Run Opici Family Distribution

Opici, Award-Winning Wine and Spirits Distributor, Headquartered in Glen Rock

GLEN ROCK, NJ – U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) visited Opici Family Distribution in Glen Rock. The fourth-generation family-owned, women-run business employs around one hundred people in North Jersey and has a presence across the East Coast.

“For more than a century, the Opici family has been creating jobs and contributing to the economy in North Jersey and setting the standard of excellence in the wine and spirits space,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “Family-owned businesses drive our community and economy here in North Jersey. I appreciate all that Opici does for the community. We need to make it easier for businesses to come to here, grow here, and stay here. That starts with cutting taxes and red tape, and encouraging business investment in our community.”

Founded in 1913 in New Jersey, Opici Family Distributing of New Jersey is the largest of the Opici distribution markets, representing hundreds of producers of wine & spirits from around the world through two separate selling divisions – Opici Wine Company of NJ and American B.D. Company.
