TRENTON, N.J. — Governor Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy will cap off their historic 21 County Get Out The Vote Tour on Election Day with a full slate of campaign events for Senator Bob Menendez and Democrats up and down the ballot. In total, the Governor and First Lady will have participated in 66 campaign events attended by thousands of residents in the final 10 days of the campaign, ranging from rallys with hundreds of voters to retail campaigning to phone banking and more.
“The past few weeks have been incredibly exciting as Tammy and I have travelled throughout our state meeting thousands of voters who are ready to put a check on the Trump administration by electing Democrats on Tuesday,” said Governor Murphy. “This experience has made it crystal clear to both of us that the winds of change are blowing in the right direction and I believe that the work we are doing along with thousands of volunteers and activists will lead to a Blue Wave and an Election Day we will never forget. Now, it’s up to New Jersey to get out and vote.”
At the direction of Governor Murphy and Chairman John Currie, the New Jersey Democratic State Committee has spent the past weeks coordinating with the Menendez for Senate campaign, Congressional campaigns, county Democratic organizations and activist groups to execute the largest GOTV operation in state history to increase voter turnout, rally support and fire up Democrats for victory at the polls on Election Day.
