UMC Foundation Links with Lockton to Host a Golf Outing Benefitting NJ Seniors

Neptune, NJ – On Wednesday, October 7, community members and business leaders will gather at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club in Galloway Township for an afternoon of golf, philanthropy, and networking with one goal in mind: providing abundant lives for older adults throughout New Jersey by supporting the UMC Foundation (UMCF).
“At Lockton, we believe that strong communities are measured by how they care for their most vulnerable members," shared David Griffin, Vice President & Client Advocate at Lockton. He added that Lockton is proud to support UMCF’s work providing "compassionate care, meaningful connection, and opportunities for older adults to live abundant lives."
UMCF enhances the lives of seniors through programs, services, and community initiatives that promote the highest quality of life, and the Golf Outing is just one of several events the foundation hosts to advance the Foundation’s impact through partnership development.
“We’re deeply grateful for the generosity of our sponsors and donors, including our Golf Outing’s Title Sponsor, Lockton, who make it possible for us to fulfill our mission,” emphasized the Foundation’s Vice President Jim Roberts, “New Jersey’s seniors deserve compassionate care, independence, and dignity, and their support makes that possible.”
The UMCF Golf Outing sponsors also include Presenting Sponsor, Provident Bank; Gold Sponsor, Sodexo; and 2026 Premier Partner, Hawks & Company. A limited number of golfer spots remain available, as well as hole sponsorships for businesses and organizations looking to increase their visibility while supporting UMCF’s mission. Dinner-only registration is also available for those who would like to attend the evening reception without playing golf.
For those who prefer to support the event from behind the scenes, the UMC Foundation is seeking monetary and in-kind donations for the reception’s silent auction. Every contribution helps make the day a success while supporting UMC’s programs and services.
