Greenspot launches four state-of-the-art e-Mobility Hubs with EV Charging Stations in Columbus, OH; Newton, MA; Brookline, MA; and Asbury Park, NJ, to revolutionize the industry

The company, which promotes electrification of the mobility sector, selected these cities based on their desire to be leaders in implementing innovative eco-friendly mobility solutions.

New Jersey / September 2019 – Greenspot, an award-winning startup that specializes in the implementation of electric vehicle (EV) charging projects and e-Mobility Hubs, announces the launch of its state-of-the-art e-Mobility Hubs in four cities: Columbus, Ohio; Newton, Massachusetts; Brookline, Massachusetts; and Asbury Park, New Jersey. Each city will have e-Mobility Hubs installed in strategically located destinations. These will include charging stations for electric vehicles and mobility solutions such as ridesharing, car sharing, and e-scooters/e-bikes. Greenspot is taking action to help pave the way for an all-electric and zero-emission future.

Greenspot has been revolutionizing the electric mobility industry with innovative approaches to electric mobility since 2014. The company specializes in securing public-private partnerships (P3s) with leading cities and towns, which allows it to create e-Mobility Hubs in publicly accessible locations. The company is complementing its public sector work by offering its turnkey EV charging solutions to the private sector.

“We’re extremely excited about our expansion into these key markets,” said Michael MazurChief Operating Officer at Greenspot. “We believe that public-private partnerships like these are critical if we want the public to start thinking of EVs as a viable alternative to internal combustion engine vehicles. We are fortunate to have found these forward-thinking cities, who are paving the way for cleaner transportation,” he added.

Greenspot’s expansion into Newton, Brookline, Columbus, and Asbury Park is just the first of many new locations throughout the country and internationally. Greenspot expects to install over 1000 ports in the upcoming year to meet the increased demand and supply an ever-environmentally conscious world. Greenspot currently has stations throughout New Jersey, New York, and internationally in Israel. In upcoming months Greenspot will launch its new EV charging app and continue focusing on offering convenient strategically located charging and mobility solutions.

Greenspot invests in community and energy infrastructure that is custom-built to accommodate a transition to safer, cleaner, and more cost-equitable transportation solutions. The service is offered to governmental institutions with the goal of boosting their environmental policies and reducing their carbon footprint. In these cases, installation is usually free.

In the private sector, Greenspot offers the service to landlords who are increasingly answering to a generation of environmentally-conscious residents that focus on experiences. The service comes with an easy-to-use application that allows users to manage all their EV charging needs.

The EV industry is expanding rapidly. In fact, according to IHS Markit, “There were 208,000 new registrations for electric vehicles in the U.S. last year, more than double the number filed in 2017.” Evidently, the way we think about mobility is evolving. Greenspot aims to facilitate this revolution by promoting EVs and shared mobility solutions to reduce carbon emissions.
