Herminio Mendoza, President of the Hispanic Republicans of North Jersey, Endorses John Cupo for Council in Bayonne

Bayonne – Herminio Mendoza, President of the Hispanic Republicans of North Jersey, has endorsed John Cupo for Bayonne City Council in the November 5th election for Bayonne’s 1st Ward. Cupo serves as a Commissioner on the Bayonne Housing Authority, was appointed to the position by Mayor Jimmy Davis, and is a Bayonne community activist.

“As President of the Hispanic Republicans of North Jersey, I proudly endorse John Cupo for Bayonne City Council. Cupo is the 1st Ward candidate who will fight for the residents. He has displayed a dedication to the people, unparalleled knowledge of the issues, and a unique understanding of the challenges that makes him singularly qualified for the position. I call on all Republicans, Hispanics, and all 1st Ward voters to support Cupo on November 5,” stated Mendoza.

Cupo, a business owner, home owner, and community volunteer is the self-funded Bayonne candidate running independently of establishment politicians. While only only 100 signatures of 1st ward voters were needed to get on the ballot for the council race, the Cupo campaign collected and submitted 2,000. Cupo has been seen across the ward campaigning hard, door knocking, shaking hands with voters, and engaging in substantive discussion on the issues.
