Jersey City, September 6 – The Hispanic Republicans of North Jersey delivered backpacks and school supplies to the Whitney M. Young, JR School in Jersey City. Over 136 backpacks and numerous other school supplies were donated to the children at the school. The Hispanic Republicans of North Jersey is the leading voice of grassroots Hispanic activists within in Republican Party of northern New Jersey. The organization, founded by long time Jersey City resident Herminio Mendoza, advocates within the GOP for issues near and dear to Hispanic New Jerseyans as well as for smaller government GOP values in the New Jersey Hispanic community. Mendoza, who in addition to founding the organization, serves as its President, has been a community advocate for years and incorporated his hands-on community advocacy into the organization from day one. As part of its commitment to local community, the Hispanic Republicans of North Jersey is devoted to helping build a better New Jersey for all residents.
“It really shows what type of leader Mendoza is, and what type of amazing organization and people the Hispanic Republicans of North Jersey are,” said Joshua Sotomayor Einstein, NJ GOP State Committeeman representing Hudson County. He continued, “I’m proud to work with fellow grassroots Republican leaders like Mendoza as well as Douglas Salters because they understand that we must be in our communities engaging people with ideas as well as living our values as Republicans, just like the Hispanic Republicans of North Jersey are doing.”
The Hispanic Republicans of North Jersey plan to continue both their outreach events challenging regressive status quo Democratic Party policies as well as their community investment and advocacy agenda.
