Hudson TMA Hosting Smart Cycling – Traffic Safety 101

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — The Hudson Transportation Management Association (TMA), a division of the Hudson County Improvement Authority, will host its “Smart Cycling – Traffic Safety 101” this Saturday in Jersey City from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The free class for adults on urban biking will provide instruction in classrooms, as well as the street. Those who sign up to attend will receive direction on the following:

  • Tips on cycling safely
  • Accident avoidance
  • Skill drills
  • Your rights and responsibilities
 
“Novices and experienced cyclists alike are all welcome to come and participate,” said Hudson TMA Director Jay DiDomenico. “Newcomers will learn very valuable lessons and even people who’ve been riding for years can always benefit from sharpening their skills and improving their knowledge.”
