Hugin Wins Union and Salem County GOP Conventions

Mountainside, NJ – Republicans from across New Jersey joined today to support of Bob Hugin for Senate.

This morning at Kean University, the Union County Republican Committee resoundingly nominated Bob Hugin for U.S. Senate. “Bob Hugin has lived and worked in Union County for many years, and we are thrilled to support him for U.S. Senate,” said UCGOP Chairman Glenn Mortimer. “Bob’s service to our country in the Marines, his record of job creation in the private sector as CEO and Chairman of Celgene, and his work with several non-profit organizations illustrate his commitment to service. He will be a Senator New Jersey can be proud of.”

“Union County is my home – it’s where my wife Kathy and I raised our three children. Receiving the formal support of my home county makes today’s endorsement even more special,” said Bob Hugin. “I look forward to working with UCGOP to ensure all of our candidates are successful on November 6th.”

At the Pennsville VFW, the Salem County Republican Party voted at its county convention to formally endorse Bob Hugin for U.S. Senate. “We are proud to support Bob Hugin for U.S. Senate – we know he has what it takes to win here in South Jersey,” said Salem County GOP Chairwoman Linda DuBois. “Salem County Republicans are motivated and ready to work to get Bob Hugin and all of our endorsed candidates elected this November.”

“I’d like to congratulate Linda DuBois on being elected to a full term as Salem County GOP Chair. Linda is well deserving of this position and I know she will do great things for the Republican party in Salem County.” said Bob Hugin. “I’m truly honored to receive the endorsement of the Salem County GOP. Working together, from the grassroots local level to the top of the ticket, we will win in November.”
