ICYMI: Our Revolution Bergen County endorses Wisniewski for Governor
Hackensack, NJ — Our Revolution Bergen County (ORBC), a Northern New Jersey chapter of Our Revolution on Saturdayendorsed Assemblyman John Wisniewski, Democrat for Governor of New Jersey.

“Assemblyman John Wisnewiski’s platform embodies the core principles of Our Revolution,” said Danny Kim, primary organizer of ORBC.  “John’s leadership in exposing the corruption of the Chris Christie Bridgegate scandal and his courageous endorsement of Bernie Sanders when he served as the New Jersey chair of the Bernie Sanders campaign for President in 2016 proves his commitment to challenge the billionaire class that continues to corrupt our political system.”

Throughout his legislative tenure and during this campaign, John has championed policies that help hard-working New Jersey residents in their everyday lives, including:

* single-payer, Medicare for All for New Jersey
* investing in New Jersey infrastructure to improve quality of life and create jobs
* increasing the minimum wage to a living wage
* middle-class property tax relief
* fully funded public schools
* fully funding the New Jersey pension system
* tuition-free public university education for all New Jersey residents
* a progressive income tax system where millionaires pay their fair share
*  training programs for former casino workers who lost their jobs

John has been outspoken on critical issues for all segments of society, including:
* relieving mass incarceration
* expanding voting rights
* marriage equality
* improving police-community relations

Our Revolution supports progressive champions at every level of government. By supporting candidates backed by people, not corporations, we are aiming to transform American politics to make our political and economic systems responsive to the needs of working families.
