INFLUENTIAL NATIONAL MARIJUANA TRADE GROUP TARGETS NEW JERSEY FOR LEGALIZATION PUSH

Trenton, NJ, June 19, 2017 —  Coinciding with today’s legislative hearing convened by Senator Scutari on SB 3195, the American Trade Association of Cannabis and Hemp (ATACH) has announced that it will target New Jersey as the next state it will push for marijuana legalization.

“We are targeting New Jersey because we believe it is the next big piece of the legalization movement. The New Jersey legalization effort is likely to move quickly because people know that marijuana belongs in a safe and regulated marketplace — not the black market. For New Jersey, Marijuana legalization has game changing potential to create good jobs, economic opportunity, and an entirely new industry,” said Michael Bronstein, political consultant for the American Trade Association for Cannabis & Hemp.
