Lumberton, NJ – Today, accomplished attorney and lifelong Republican Jason Huf announced his intention to run for the New Jersey State Assembly to represent the 8th legislative district.
Jason Huf, 46, is a graduate of Penn State University and earned his law degree at the Hofstra University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and the US District Court of New Jersey.

Jason Huf practices commercial, corporate, banking, and energy law, with an emphasis on international transactions and foreign direct investments in the Middle East and global marketplace. He is a past Non-Governmental Organization Representative to the United Nations and former Co-Chairman of the New York County Lawyer’s Association Foreign & International Law Committee. Jason has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Penn State’s Abington College, lecturing on various subjects including politics, terrorism, and police administration.

Upon returning home to the Rancocas Valley area, Jason Huf founded his own law firm. Prior to that he worked for law firms in Philadelphia, the UAE, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Jason is a resident of Lumberton, member of the First Presbyterian Church in Mount Holly, an avid Phillies fan, and loves dogs.

Huf said “It is time for fresh leadership in Trenton. We have been let down by our state government. State aid has been cut from our schools and sent north. Our representatives have failed to oppose tax increases and burdensome regulations that are hurting South Jersey’s economy. Clearly, property taxes have skyrocketed out of control. I look forward to running a positive campaign. Something our county hasn’t seen in quite a long time. One that focuses upon solutions to our state’s many challenges. The residents of our district deserve nothing less. In the coming weeks, I will be presenting a detailed platform elaborating upon my ideas for property tax relief, improving our communities, and promoting economic growth.”
