Kazimir & Di Piazza Announce the Hiring of Michael Casey as Field Director

Insider NJ's Fred Snowflack recaps a recent GOP fundraiser, where former senatorial candidate Bob Hugin and other Republicans showed that they are trying to paint Democratic Governor Phil Murphy as a radical in an effort to capture votes in the coveted political middle.

PARAMUS, NJ – As the fall campaign season gets underway, the Assembly campaign of Rochelle Park Mayor Mike Kazimir and Paramus Councilman Chris Di Piazza for New Jersey’s 38th District announce the hiring of Michael Casey as Field Director. Amid strong fundraising and positive polling numbers, the campaign is expanding for the final stretch.

Traditionally one of New Jersey’s swing districts, Casey’s presence is integral to the campaign. His duties will include organizing volunteers and helping residents navigate the complex and ever changing vote-by-mail procedures. Casey has previously served as an officer for the Bergen County Young Republicans, Chairman of the Bergen Community College Republicans, Emerson County Committeeman and an intern to Assemblyman Robert Auth.

“I could not be happier to have Mike on the team in this important role,” said Councilman Di Piazza, “having someone completely up to speed with the district is invaluable at this stage of the campaign.”

Casey will begin immediately and more hires are expected in the coming days.
