Kean Announces Senate Republican Leadership Team for 2018-2019 Session

Senate Republican Leader Tom Kean (R-21) announced the new caucus leadership for the upcoming 2018-2019 legislative session:

Deputy Minority Leader – Senator Bob Singer (R-30)

  • Conference Leader – Senator Steven Oroho (R-24)
  • Deputy Conference Leader – Senator-elect Chris Brown (R-2)
  • Whip – Senator Joe Pennacchio (R-26)
  • Deputy Whip – Senator Dawn Marie Addiego (R-8)
  • Budget Officer – Senator Anthony Bucco (R-25)

“Senate Republicans see a renewed opportunity to advance initiatives that will improve the lives of the people of New Jersey,” said Kean. “We’re focused on addressing New Jersey’s crisis of affordability, creating new opportunities for students and job seekers, and rebuilding trust in government. The Senate Republican leadership team is optimistic that we can help the members of our caucus, and the Legislature as a whole, to effectively address these most pressing challenges. Every Senate Republican is engaged in this endeavor, and they each have the drive and the talent that our state will need to be successful.”

The announcement follows Kean’s selection by the caucus last week to continue serving as Senate Republican Leader for the 218th New Jersey Legislature, which begins in January.
