Lance Announces Hearing with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg

Testimony Before Lance’s Energy & Commerce Committee Set for April 11^th

WESTFIELD, N.J. — Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) today announced the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee has scheduled a hearing with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.  Mr. Zuckerberg will testify before the Committee on Wednesday, April 11th, at 10:00 a.m.

“There are many important questions the American people want answered concerning the security of their private information and what steps Facebook is taking to protect consumer data and the integrity of its platform.  These issues are of paramount concern for millions of Americans utilizing their social network.  I appreciate Mr. Zuckerberg’s willingness to testify before our committee and I look forward to his answering our questions on April 11th,” said Lance, a senior member of the Committee.
