LD38 Republicans Comment on Delgado Polanco

The interim director of the NJ Schools Development Authority (SDA) dismissed about 30 employees, many of whom were hired by embattled former director Lizette Delgado Polanco, including the director of personnel, projects manager, deputy chief of staff and press secretary.

Paramus NJ – “It is extremely troubling that Gov. Murphy cannot hire competent leadership with in his administration,” said DiPiazza.

Yet another failed hiring with the recent news about Lizette Delgado-Polanco, Gov. Murphy and Assembly Democrats pick to head the New Jersey Schools Development Authority. Polanco fired state workers when, Phil Murphy and Assembly Democrats hired her to head the agency, only to put her friends and family on the payroll.

“I am disgusted by this news. The fact that the person in charge of developing our New Jersey schools, which so badly need developing, is more concerned with getting her friends paid then doing her job should anger parents all around New Jersey who have children in our public schools,” said Kazimir.

“I hope the citizens of New Jersey see that all three democratically controlled houses of state government are totally mismanaging our tax dollars and our state. We need new leadership in Trenton and we need it before our state is utterly destroyed,” said DiPiazza.
