LD8 GOP: Dishonest, Hypocritical General Majority PAC Strikes Again

Camden bosses launch misleading attack on Stanfield for double-dipping, with campaign cash
donated by Dana Redd, the most infamous double-dipper in New Jersey

Mount Holly, NJ – Camden political bosses orchestrating the campaign of Democrat puppets
Gina LaPlaca and Mark Natale proved once again how shameless they are by launching a false
and misleading attack about double-dipping against former Burlington County Sheriff Jean
Stanfield, funded by a shady PAC that counts infamously, corrupt double-dipper Dana Redd as
one of its contributors.

During her time as Sheriff, Jean Stanfield was routinely recognized as one of only a small
handful of sheriffs who chose to freeze her law enforcement pension while receiving a salary for
her full-time job. Redd, on the other hand, was the beneficiary of special legislation that padded
her taxpayer-funded pension, and that of other career politicians like Dawn Addiego.
“The people running and donating to the shady General Majority PAC are the exact same corrupt
masterminds behind the legislation allowing Dana Redd and Dawn Addiego to cash in on padded
pensions at taxpayer expense,” said Stanfield-Peters Campaign Manager Angelo Lamberto. Redd
herself donated $2,500 to General Majority PAC in 2019.

Lamberto continued, “Only in New Jersey can greedy double-dippers conspire to pad the
pensions of themselves and their friends, and then attack their political opponent – who refused to
engage in double-dipping. The hypocrisy is off the charts.”

Here are the facts:
● She refused to double-dip and take a pension check while being paid for her full-time
salary.
● Stanfield’s Democrat counterparts in Atlantic and Camden Counties – both card-carrying
members of the Camden Democrat political machine in the other counties that make up
the 8th Legislative District – choose to accept their pension payments and their salaries at
the same time.
○ Atlantic County Sheriff Eric Scheffler receives a more than $107,000 salary and
another nearly $75,000 in pension checks, costing Atlantic County taxpayers a
total of more than $180,000 per year.
○ Camden County, Sheriff Gilbert ‘Whip’ Wilson takes home a total of more than
$195,000, split between a $50,000 pension and just under $145,000 salary.
● Donors to the General Majority PAC include double-dippers, triple-dippers, and pension
padders including Dana Redd and Robert Balicki .

“Gina LaPlaca and Mark Natale didn’t have the courage to stand up against blatant racism, so
it’s no surprise they don’t see a problem with their dishonest campaign attacking Jean Stanfield
for something she didn’t do, paid for with the recycled taxpayer money of some of the state’s
most infamous pension padders. Anyone who thinks LaPlaca and Natale will be anything but
puppets on a string in the legislature for the Camden bosses, isn’t paying attention.”
