Lesniak Calls On Phil Murphy To Agree On Six Debates
Senator Raymond Lesniak, candidate for the Democratic nomination for Governor, today called on candidate Phil Murphy to agree to four debates in addition to the two debates held by the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission.

“Murphy has already spent well in excess of ten million dollars contributing to Democratic organizations to secure their support, on TV and Facebook Ads, putting political operatives on his campaign payroll for $5,10 and $15,000 a month and a massive consultant and campaign staff. The public needs a level playing field to make an informed decision on the Democratic nominee for Governor. Additional debates won’t overcome Murphy’s massive financial advantage but at least it will give his opponents and opportunity to be heard over his massive campaign spending.”
