McGreevey has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars from over 200 donors, including over $440,000 for his mayoral campaign alone, from donors who have backed radical Republicans like Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and even local Republican diehards like Chris Christie and Jack Ciattarelli. The donors who have given to McGreevey’s mayoral campaign alone have given just over $3.3 million to Trump and Trump affiliated PACs.

These donors who have given to McGreevey over the years have combined to give over $17 million to Republican candidates, party organizations, and PACs.McGreevey’s donors have also bankrolled the campaigns of Trump acolytes and wannabes across the country, including Ron DeSantis, Ted Cruz, and JD Vance.

Quite simply. McGreevey’s “comeback” is being financed by MAGA.

• John Catsimatidis, who has given millions to Republicans for decades, co-chaired a campaign finance event for Trump in 2024, and has consistently backed Trump during his presidential campaigns.
• Charles Kushner, who prominently backed McGreevey’s gubernatorial campaign.
• Lawrence Bathgate, who served as the chair of the Republican Party’s Finance Committee, and who has bankrolled party activities across the country.
• Ronald Gravino, a Chris Christie crony who also serves as the campaign treasurer for Tom Kean Jr.
• Finance Executive Kenneth D. Pasternak, who was charged with financial fraud by the FEC, and is also another Trump supporter.
• Republican State Senator Douglas Steinhardt
