Mayor Amatorio, Borough Council Encourage All Residents to Sign up for COVID-19 Vaccine

All residents ages 16 and older are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as of Monday, April 19

BERGENFIELD, NJ — On Monday, April 19, COVID-19 vaccination eligibility was opened up to all people ages 16 and older. Mayor Amatorio and the Borough Council are urging all residents to register to get the vaccine as soon as possible in order to flatten the curve in Bergenfield.

“As of yesterday, anyone 16 or older is eligible to get vaccinated and it is imperative that you do so,” said Mayor Amatorio. “We are doing everything in our power to flatten the curve and keep Bergenfield families safe and that starts with ensuring that our population is vaccinated. We have worked incredibly hard to provide residents with a number of options to register for the vaccine, which has proven to be safe and extremely effective at preventing the spread of COVID-19.”

Bergenfield residents that wish to be vaccinated in the Borough at Conlon Hall may register at https://bergenfield.com/vaccine. If you or someone you know is homebound and needs to register for the vaccine, contact the Bergenfield Health Department by phone at 201-387-4055, extension 5 or by email at health@bergenfield.com.
