Not the Parties of Roselle Park

In my campaign for Mayor in 2013, I made a pledge to you, the people of Roselle Park, of “Leadership with Integrity”. Since that time I have strived to lead honestly, fairly and respectfully in the best interest of all our residents.

During my time as Mayor I have gained much insight into the unique skills and talents needed to be an effective leader within our community. I have seen the benefits of keeping an open mind while trying to understand all sides of an issue and weigh them against the needs of our town and our residents. From the time I was first elected to Council in 2009 until now, I have demonstrated my ability to work with every member of Council, putting political party affiliations aside.

I have met with the Roselle Park Democratic Committee and spoke to them as to what I feel my role as your mayor should be. Through these discussions, it has been decided that our paths were not aligned. As such, I am moving forward with my re-election campaign for Mayor. Not as a Democrat. Not as a Republican. I’m running as an Independent candidate. It is my belief that this will allow me to truly and independently represent all the voices of our Borough.

I always have, and always will, continue to work for what’s best for the entire community of Roselle Park.
