“We are pleased to hear of the gains being made in Newark Public Schools and to see that progress being recognized nationally for the academic strides our students are making. This reflects the hard work and dedication of teachers, administrators, support staff, students, and families across the district who remain committed to student success every day. Newark has always believed in the potential of its young people, and while this recognition is encouraging, we know there is still much more work to do. We remain committed to doing everything we can to ensure every Newark student has the support, opportunities, and resources needed to succeed and reach their full potential.”
