Mayor Steve Lonegan Announces New Jersey Right to Life PAC Endorsement

Hackensack, NJ — Republican congressional candidate Steve Lonegan has been endorsed by New Jersey Right to Life (NJRTL) PAC.

Lonegan is running against pro-abortion Congressman Josh Gottheimer, a liberal Democrat incumbent.  Lonegan said: “I am honored to be endorsed by New Jersey’s oldest and largest pro-life organization. I’m looking to the pro-life community as a strong part of my campaign to win this seat back from the left-wing, pro-abortion incumbent who narrowly won this seat two years ago.”

“Steve Lonegan was instrumental in our successful effort to defeat Jon Corzine’s embryonic stem cell taxpayer rip-off,” explained Marie Tasy, New Jersey Right to Life PAC executive director.  “Steve’s hard work not only helped defeat this grisly practice in New Jersey, but has virtually stopped taxpayer funding of stem cell research across America.”

“We are looking forward to working with Steve Lonegan as a member of the strong pro-life bloc in Congress.”

Lonegan has also been endorsed by pro-life leaders, including state Senators Steve Oroho, Gerald Cardinale, Joe Pennacchio, and Mike Doherty, as well as Assemblywoman BettyLou DeCroce.

Lonegan is running in the Fifth Congressional District. The district includes parts of Bergen, Passaic, Sussex and Warren Counties and stretches from the Hudson to the Delaware Rivers.
