| Andover, NJ — Dr. Megan O’Rourke received endorsements from current and former elected officials from throughout the community, including an endorsement from Mendham Borough Councilman Chris Neff, who was the first Democrat since 1976 to win a seat on the Mendham Borough Council.
“Chris Neff is a dedicated leader who has shown a path for Democrats to win anywhere,” said O’Rourke. “I’m proud to have Chris’s support in my race for Congress. We both know how important it is for Democrats to broaden our appeal and talk with voters throughout the community - while still maintaining a firm commitment to our beliefs and values.” “Megan understands our communities, and she knows the importance of connecting with voters and fighting for them,” said Neff. “It’s critically important for Democrats to win New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District. We need a candidate who understands the entire district and can personally relate to voters whom Democrats don’t normally win over. In my race, I saw the benefit of reaching new voters and those who typically don’t vote for Democratic candidates. Megan is the candidate who can grow our voter base, fight for our values, and give a voice to everyone in the 7th Congressional District in Washington.” O’Rourke also received endorsements from several current and former local elected officials from throughout the community.
O’Rourke has been endorsed by Rep. Ro Khanna, Former NJ Rep. Dr. Rush Holt, Rep. Chellie Pingree, four local unions, and leading environmentalists. She is building strong grassroots support throughout the district.
